Mi Mejor Amiga

Español: Sheilagh es mi mejor amiga en Vermont.  Ella es muy fuerte porque ella sabe como ser vulnerable.  Muchas personas creen que ser vulnerable es una signo de flaqueza, pero para Sheilagh, su vulnerabilidad se hace una persona increíble con un corazón abierto.  Esta preocupa con toda la gente circunstante de ella, y siempre pone otras personas primero.  Yo conoce a ella cuatro años en el pasado y su inclinación de escuchar y compartir nos hicieron amigos desde el principio.  Ella ha sido un influencia muy positivo en mi vida, y cuando esta un lugar, ella creía una aura de cordialidad y comprensivo.  Ahora, nosotros vivimos juntos, y para la primera vez, yo tengo un lugar que esta mucho más de un lugar para dormir; es un hogar.  Sheilagh es como una hermana que yo no tengo, y estoy agradecido de conocerse.

Ingles: Sheilagh is my best friend here in Vermont.  She is one of the strongest women I know because she knows how to be vulnerable.  Many people believe being vulnerable is a sign of weakness, but for Sheilagh it makes her the amazing and open hearted individual she is.   She cares about everyone around her and continually puts others first.  I met Sheilagh four years ago and her wiliness to both listen and share about herself made us friends from the start.  She has been a hugely positive influence on my life, and wherever she is, she creates an aura of warmth and caring.  We currently live together and for the first time in my life, I have a place that is so much more than somewhere to sleep; it is a place that I can actually call home.  Sheilagh is like the sister that I never had and I am very thankful to have gotten to know her.
